I wish I would of seen this... I might know the guy in the Del Sol. I would of freaked out seeing a regal T in G ville, I know I've seen yours before but stilll... I freaked out when I saw a GN turning onto 16th off of 34th the other day. That makes 2 I know of here.

You have to admit though it really is no fun on the street other than the wow factor it generates. You can't gas on it but for 2 seconds or less, not even enough to get an adrenalin rush.

I did that to my brother in law when he came to visit from KC. He drove his Solstice (which he thought was quick) and took my son for a ride in it. When he commented on how fast it was Vince said let dad take you for a ride in the T.

I get out to a lonely strech of road crank up the boost, purge the alky, pull out to pass and gas on it. Everything comes together perfectly and whoooooosh. Chuck says the exact same thing (holy sh****** and adds please don't kill me) as we quickly pass 140 before I let off.

In all honesty guys it will not hook on the street in 11.0 tune with the Firestone street tires. The G-Force meter gives me a best of 12.0's in street trim on the street. I'm going to build a big inch 60's full size restored Buick that runs 12.0's in street trim for my daily driver so I can have the wow factor and some juice to play with on the street.

There are 3 GN's and another white T in town that I know of. One GN is a bone stock cream puff garage queen, one is a wreck of a daily driver with many issues (I know the owner), One is a nice resto gone GNX clone with the #548 engraved in the dash (I know the owner) and the other white T is not a limited with the chrome package (I know nothing about the car).

Where I live there are ricers everywhere you look. Everytime I see them I always think I wish I had my dads 73 GS so I could show them what a real car can do. My best in it is 13.6 on street tires. But everytime he says I think I'll take it out for the weekend I always become a little kid and start smiling from ear to ear and always go daddy may I drive it home. Haha freakin 21 year old asking like im ten haha

Truth right there for the most part. I really can't gas it on the street at all just cruising around cause it's LOUD with 3.5 inch pipes and Borla XR1 race mufflers. Occasionally I will "squirt" it but it's right back to grandma driving mode to avoid tickets.

About the only time I get it good is when I go way out of town to deserted roads or meet someone on a Saturday night(if ya know what I mean). Other than that I enjoy driving my 87 Turbo T. 11.90's on pump gas at 17lbs. I know it'll go low 11's if I turn it up but there's really no reason. It's comfy, A/C works and reliable at 17lbs so that's what I leave it at cause it's still quick and fun. Not so much of a serious attitude necessary when I drive it vs the chassis car.

    Michael,

I haven't seen your Lark in a while around town. My son always sees it before I do and points it out. Everything okay?
