Wheelz, I have many times resold stuff that's NBD, I have gotten great deals and sold great deals here. I have a ton of rare parts sitting, that will hopefully make it to the car some day, maybe noto No: And for you to get your money back on a part is perfectly acceptable. However, I do take offence at someone flipping a part and marking it up over 100% in four months. Im here to promote a hobby and build cars, not flip parts. To each his own I guess. I'm not singling you out but yes it did rub me wrong. You know what it will take to get this handle back to useable, which is why I sold it to you for the price you paid (Which was less than the asking) and then you gave me grief for it's condition when you received ito No: So let it go for what you paid for it and get it into the hands of someone that will use it?
Wheelz, I didnt want to sell it, I was hoping to trade it for one for a bench seat car. Does anyone know what number a bench seat shifter is? Can I get a new one? Did they even make a Hurst shifter handle for a bench seat car? Then I would be interested in selling it, but not untill I know I can get one for my car. As for the re-sale of shifter handle 5335, it is worth what someone pays for it. I have sold items on the board and seen them come up for sale later for far more than I sold it for and I thought of it as a learning lesson. If someone list a part for sale and doesnt know what it is worth, does the potential buyer have the responsability to tell the seller and up the price of the part the buyer wants? I really dont see that happening. Im not taking sides. My thought is that this is a grey area. Thanks, Scott
