You cannot take a womped out motor add boost and have a good result. Fix what you have before thinking about adding power. Good suspenion, brakes and tires before anything. Fix the tranny next its cheap. Then worry about the motor.

This might cause a bit of controversy, however, I don't beleive in power adders when dealing with these types of engines. You've got almost 6 liters worth of displacement at your disposal, decent power should be had NA, and yes I've got a wicked built TH350 in the mail with a level 10 rebuild kit, supposed to take 650 ft lbs of torque and 700 hp, shifts like a bear. That will be going behind my 455. I wish I would have gotten into the 350 a little more but in the long run it will cost me just as much money to build a half decent 455 that will get me running mid 12's with ease, when with a half decent built 350 I might be low 14's with a mild gear, maybe high 13's with a 3.73 or 4.10. No offense meant to the 350 guys, I just want to build myself a fast budget hot rod, and the cheapest and easiest way to go about that is a stout big block with mild compression, ported heads, a good q jet carb, headers, a decent trans, etc...
