Perry, I agree well worth it,we have put alot of time and energy into these cars. I just want to race heads up and get others to join in. Just think about this last race in BG the 2 fastest Pro Street cars never made it eliminations. Do we see all the NHRA Pro Stock racers stop competing even though Anderson and Line have them covered??? If you love the Heads Up style how could you not do it!!!!!!!!!!! Come on guys lets pony up and get the car counts up and do it. We have never been the fastest or even the close, but we still go at it!
I'm up for heads-up......:TU: Sorry it so long to get back on the wagon after the Nationals.:beers2: There are 5 power-adder BBB's cars that need a "heads-up" home for BPG. Can we work something out that will combine things with some of our lite N/A back-halv'd bretheren? How much money will it take to get a .400 Pro-Tree, 1/8mi, door slammer class with some type of weight break? Say 3200lbs Power adder, 2800ish N/A? Buick Powered, Pruduction based trans.....v-6 or v-8.....:Brow:
Now you're talkin' Juice-Man! Just change "back-half" to "full tube" and I'll be a part of your traveling circus! Just make it happen on a different day than Super-16 so I can run my 4.56s for heads-up and put my 4.30s back in for 1/4 mile! :TU:
Full tube is fine by me as long it has a little steel to give it some weight. REALLY, if you look at my post again, it says "door slammers".:Brow: The biggest catch is the weight break. I picked 2800ish for N/A guys..... I am ALL for a seperate day aside from Super 16. Sunday is Super 16, right? So Saturday works for me........
Well, I know there are tube cars that wouldn't make your weight break of 2800, but my sweet baby is 2900 with me in it. Of course, a pretty good portion of that is driver weight!
We'll see who chimes in for the N/A guys. There are N/A guys lighter and heavier. I know Rick M., Rob C., and the GSP crowd is heavier so it didn't seem right to go too lite...:idea2:
