Larry Gibson...Thats great you were raised so near by....I live in Piney View...bout 8-9 miles from Mt Hope High...:TU:
Hi James, Although I graduated from Mt. Hope HS, I grew up near Glen Jean in a little coal town called Sun which is almost gone now. It's been a long time since I was in Piney View. About 40 years or so. Take care, Larry
Know all about them parts...Whipple, Scarbro, Hunk Hill, Mindon...cool little empty town to wall through....I was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, but have lived here since about 1985...there is nothing in MB I would ever trade for any part of PV...love it here!....good folks!...out house's on scooters...now come on, where else can ya get that! :TU:
Well now, ain't it a small world. I'm no more than 1,000 feet away from SSHS when I walk to my mail-box. We can hear the PA and band on Friday nights in the fall. I graduated from Meadow Bridge High School in '78. Nothing like a small school. Some of my teachers taught my parents. Too bad they want to consolidate everything around here. I'm not a stranger to an outhouse, either. Actually, I spent the first 9 years of my life in Lorain, OH. When we moved back here to my grandparents house in '69/'70, our closest neighbor still drew water from a well every day. They had a crank phone on a party line, also. If you guys ever visit down here, give us a yell!!
i would hate to be the sorry bastage to have to run the emissions test on that thing. make sure and install one of these stainless steel "head gaskets"
Re: Re: Getting Older (or Let's Lighten Things Up A Little) ou: Doh. That's what happens when you cut, paste, and don't run "spell check"! You think my spelling is bad, you should hear my talkin' However, in my defense, my Hillbilly International Code of Konduct (aka H.I.C.K) manual states that these minor mis-spellings are perfectly exceptable  It looks like our test driver Yardley is about to dump the clutch on this thing and flush some of the bugs out. Or is that his stunt double, Super Dave Osborne? I always get them mixed up.
