Correct Master Cylinder

    Educate me here. Does the raised “132” mean the casting was done May 12th? If so what is the other number the MC assembly date…6012 June 12th of 70?

    The orig. rebuild kits for those are hard to come by. I assume White Post sleeves them & then uses more readily available parts. Couple other places that do it too. If you still really want a kit, message me although I'm happy to hang onto what I have.

    The number “132”, which is between the 2 screw heads, is the date when the part was cast, which in this case would have been the day of the year.

    This same date coding system, Julian date, was also used on many exhaust manifolds.
