converting from power disc to manuel disc?

Wow, This thread is timely for me as I'm planning to use a 308s cam in my stage-2 motor at TSP right now. My '70 has power drums and I figured that vacuum will be an issue. Any reccomendations for the electric pump solution? I saw one listed from SSBC for about $260. Any mounting advise or experience running one of these?
I'm not too concerned about weight, so this seems like the easiest cure.

Electric vacuum pump

Grab one off a mid '80's Cadillac. Easy to spot, looks like a tiny electric air compressor! Get the wiring and vacuum lines and don't pay more than $5.00. Some of the Grand National guys make the conversion after the electric powermaster goes out.
