This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. I bought stuff from them 3 times and it's all been positive results. The last order was for a NOS chrome bezel/ housing for my tach that fits my 67 console, got it for $75 bucks.

CARS was around going out on a limb commiting their resources reproducing parts for Buick which no one else 30 years ago (except maybe Classic Buicks) seemed to care about and that was long before many others existed that are finally jumping on the Buick bandwagon.

For many years they were the only source for certain repro parts. I try to do my business with them as much as practically possible because of their commitment to the Buick world. I had a couple minor issues in 25 years but nothing I'd ever consider a reason not to do business. There have been some very mad and upset critics though for what sounded like good reasons but all I can communicate is my own experiences over a very long period of time.

Buying Buick parts is not like going to Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. You are going to be disappointed at some point no matter what you buy or who you buy it from.

That's just it, it's like a crap shoot. It depends on the style of the person you have to interface with in any company. If they really cared about customer service though, the basics would be consistent no matter who you had to deal with in that company. Stuff like credit policies, exchange policies, "knowledgeable" reps who tell you they are sending a Chevy part for a Buick and checking if that's ok (which requires giving a sh1t), etc...Some companies you call three people you get three different answers.

No company is perfect obviously, because there's people involved. I'm the kind of person that puts more creedence in customer service that in anything else. There are people who put up with lousy customer service and accept it as normal. That's why there's so much of it. These are the kind of people who also tip generously for terrible waiting or waitressing because they think they have to and they feel sorry for the waiter even though you can tell they don't care how long you waited for your food. Screw that, you want a good tip, I tip on service, I'm already paying for my meal! :Smarty:

    I digress.....:error:

CARS has treated me well the few orders I've placed with them.

    :TU:

Being I work with customers for our company on a daily basis, I have pretty high standards myself, and expect those waiting on me to at least try.

I've never had a problem with them. Shipping was average.

You should go stand by my car at a show and listen to the comments...
