Cam install without removing motor...

    TA replacements should be fine for both. If not , a quality set of lifters and something with spring closed pressure around 100- 110 should be ok .

    The TA stage 1 valve springs should be fine but double check with TA on that. You should use new lifters.

    I'll never change a flat tappet cam without new lifters.

    So I pull the cam today.......
    It has a ta stamp on the cam & written above is 709???
    Anyone have a clue waht cam this is?? 71 buick 350
    All the bearings are good, lifters look good.

    Have kids christmas concert, after will in stall poston 114 cam & new lifters.....

    If you kept the lifters in order with the lobes they came off, you can sell them as a set.

    Those lifters are matched to that particular cam, you CANNOT use those lifters on any other cam except that particular cam, and that is ONLY if you kept them in order as to which lobe they were on.
    You HAVE to use NEW lifters with a new cam.

    Are you guys having problems reading today......
    I stated after the concert, I was installing the Poston 114 cam With New LIFTERS!!!
    Closer inspection of The cam that came out, it had four Flattened exhaust valves & worn lifters...

    That is just what I said. Someone may have been able to use them if they weren't junk. He is using everything new in his engine.
