Hi guys sorry I’m late to the party! I cook almost everyday, off a camping Colman BBQ, adapter time a larger tank of propane. When I’m working 14 night shifts in a row, I do all my cooking on company time. Steaks, veggies, burgers, wings etc. Potatoes and carrots. I have an apartment to stay at when I’m working. Nothing fancy but the kitchen is ok. The house has an amazing 2020 setup, but I’m normally away a lot. Canadian hot dog, classic!
This group and myself have been a bit quite lately. Weather and change of season have kept me from the outdoor kitchen. Stay tuned!
Back at the jalapeños poppers, getting better. Probably one more batch this season. Tomato, cucumber, peppers, onion, garlic salad. My favorite meal since I was 12. And maybe a skinny porterhouse for protein. My days are numbered cooking poolside. The girls are back to work/school and rather be in the house. Roast season is coming.
OK gents! Today is national cheeseburger day, let’s see what everybody’s got! https://nationaldaycalendar.com/national-cheeseburger-day-september-18/
I’m starting now, going to go Italian pizza oven style with some cherry wood chips on the grill surface.
going to go pretty basic today with these condiments. I like the idea of an onion roll, baby Swiss and guacamole
Looks great, with all the rain we’ve been getting lately I can’t even cook outside without bathing in deet the mosquitoes are so bad.
Fred… That sucks! Fortunately I am in Sarasota County where they keep bombarding us with nightly spraying‘s for the bugs and putting mosquito fish in all of our ponds and streams
Cheers fellas! I tend to sip a good tequila like El Mayor reposado while listening to reggae and grilling. i’ve got Sonos in my house and music on the lanai where the grill is. It’s really the way we do it here in Florida, pretty much every day!
