This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration.     Gary;
    I can't say that I have ever seen that car, and I would know if I saw it! I'll keep my eyes open for it!

    It was a great day with lots of interesting cars showing up. It was great to meet some new guys and put some faces to the V8Buick names! It was nice to see Harvey (GS-XNR) with is '67 442 4spd, Nando (71Staged) with his 86 GN, Michel (CanadianBird) with his stunning '67 Skylark. Even Randy (Vandall) made it up from camping in the San Juans to check it out... (Nando, help me out as I know I'm missing a few) There were 15 buicks counted at the meet which is a pretty good turnout :TU: Here are some pictures for those that couldn't make it up.

    Thank for the reply. I thought he had a shop out on Kingsway somewhere. I was curious if she was still around. I like the 50 Olds. I had 3-4 of them. Good pics. I wish I could have been there

    A great day in the park,

    Doug : Thanks for the high-compression Wildcats on an especially hot day. Sure quenched our thirst!
    Many quality pictures posted of the show, so far. I'm glad to see eveyone had such a good time, especially those who brought their families out for the day.
    Lawrence, of the B.C. Oldsmobile Club, was amazed at the number of Buicks in attendance. He was very appreciative of our support for this non-advertised event. Next year promises to be even better, as their club will be expanding to an all GM picnic. Surely, there's enough room, in the park, to accomadate plenty of cars.
    Will ratttle off some of the Buicks and their owners, I can remember, who were there that day: ( These are owners who hadn't been mentioned in previous posts)

    John Lovat : 1969 California GS
    Alan and Doug Bencze : 1962 Wildcats (2)
    Paul Paulsen : 1972 Skylark GS with GSX-styling
    Bill Kilgour : 1965 Riviera GS with 425 c.i. 2x4bbl.
    Rob Stariha : 1987 GN and 1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am
    Gurtz Singh : 1987 GN

    I'm missing a couple of Buicks, as I counted 15, before some had left prior to 2 p.m.. Didn't meet the owner of the 50's Buick.
    We did informally speak of meeting, once again, on August 24th in White Rock, for the West Coasters show. If there's interest, we can plan to attend as a group, and even caravan to the event from a pre-determined location. Would board members like to get together towards the end of July? Doug F. and I found a good location to meet at.
    Once again, thank you all for attending, and it was a pleasure to meet you and your families at the show.

    Keep in touch,

    Nando.
