I recommend this piece for anyone in the market...I love it and feel much safer when driving the vert around in the City especially since I have to travel through some seriously shady parts of town when I drive to my jobsite.

It is the epitome of home protection with MAGNUM capability of either .410 shot and / or .45 colt hollow points in the cyllinder :Brow:

I LOVE the Judge!! I've wanted one for quite a while. I'm trying to convince my wife that it's better than the 357 snub nose that I got her so that I can get one without it counting in the "my guns" column!
Those things are wicked for defense. One .410, one 45, one .410......
By the way, the 357 is a Taurus also. Light weight, about 3/4" barrel, no hammer spur to hang up. Fits in your pocket or where ever you want.

Not in LA. We passed the "shoot the car-jacker bill" several years ago. I would say you'd face no charges in TX and FL as well. If someone comes up to you in your car w/ a weapon screaming "give it up! or "out the car 8itch!!! "I would assume you would feel the threat of imminent bodily harm and would have the right to protect yourself!!!! I say BLAST 'EM!!!! :blast:

One time, as a dumb younger kid, I got out of my car to complain to a girl behind me who was tailgating me so closely I couldn't even see her hood.

I got out and went up to her door yelling...That could have warrented a SHOT right there.

You gotta be careful these days man.

On a lighter note, you know what her excuse was? "Well, you keep hitting your brakes that's why I'm so close". :puzzled:

We were in stop and go traffic the whole time with traffic lights etc.

J-Pop I am in agreement with you . Alabama has passed a law concerning self protection , but you have to walk a pretty fine line for it to protect you . And of course use a lot of common sense .

Well for big dog guns, I am planning on buying a BFR in 45-70. One of my favorite calibers. I was talking about the thing and my brother liked the idea and bought one. Fun to shoot.
But the BFR and the 500 Smith don't make good concealment guns! Kinda on the big side.

As for getting in trouble for shooting someone who is car jacking you, there are some states that are very anti gun but in most places all you have to do is to claim that you were in fear for your life.
Hit the guy with the .410 and follow it up with a 45 long colt and he won't be able to dispute your story that he said he had a gun. I believed him and since he said he was going to kill me I shot him.

My 9mm Bersa does it for me with 17 in the clip and one in the barrel. Although the favorite weapon I have is the used police 12Ga shotgun I purchased at a gun fair a while back. You know, the kind that they have mounted up against their dash boards. It holds five rounds, pumps like butter, and with the short 20" barrel scatters a wide path pretty well. I've successfully used it to get rid of opposums that were into my garbage cans and even one coming into my garage through the cat door. NEVER try to get away from a cop with one of these shotguns. It'll turn you into hamburger meat.

In MS, the law is that if you feel threatened you can shoot especially if they are on your property. I'm not so sure about when you're in a car.

My exact sentiments about getting jacked .You just have to make sure you are in the right and scared for your life and the jacker told you he was going to kill you . As a disabled , handicapped veteran I have a little more in my favor, hope I never have to use it though. I will not give up without a fight.
