Yes, they were cut out unfortunately due to the rat chewing through the belts, but I'll look into getting new belts later, I'm going to try to keep the buckles though, just need to figure out how to remove the old belts from them.

After pulling out the rest of the carpet I vacuumed up the last of the dirt and poop and inspected the floor pans, they looked pretty solid.

I've actually looked for that on the tab but it is either missing or under dirt and foam flakes from the dash deteriorating.

Love this thread.... cool determination. And at least you got plenty of years in you to get this done and enjoy!

We were in Kingman AZ this time last year ......nice to know you can still find cool stuff in a small town like that.

So it got late again that night and I refused to quit so I pulled out the shop light again and continued pulling out the remainder of the seats.
I cleaned up the old seat to see how it would of looked had it been save-able and then pulled it out, sadly the board that held it on tore into pieces as the old metal braces were rusted through and shot.
I then cleared out the rear deck.

Been a few days, got sick so was resting, back to it now though.

We removed the whole front of the car, two of the bolts that held the nose clip on were striped so we had to pull it off last, not an easy task. Sadly after removing it the grill broke into pieces, going to need to get measurements for it for a template some other way.

I got really lucky finding it and only spend $2500 to bring it home, very little rust so far, I pray it stays that way.

These are shot, going to need to find replacements later, despite breaking the grill I was able to at least save the badge emblem, henges are both off, will find the right solution to soak them in and get all that rust and grease/oil crud off, see this is still some what intact

A friend helped me knock a few dents out of the drivers side fender. Big money saver, still needs some work but looks 100 times better then it did!

He also took the big crease out of the nose, a little bowed out but can be smoothed out with the correct tools and knowledge.

Make sure you are keeping all of the fasteners and parts you disassemble organized and labeled. Ask me how I know.
