This doesn't sound good...looks like those few who did get a Bulldog block have the only ones that will ever be made. That Sucks! :eek2:

Sure hope T/A is able to pull off what Bulldog could not. :3gears:

Bob Macklie is the only guy I know of who has a block. So he must have some answers. I thought Finishline was helping Bradshaw with this block thing in some way? Seems like Bob could shed some light on this since he knows Dick?

    Then again, maybe not.:Do No:

Jay, you need to post in the cars for sale section per board guidelines.

I honestly think Bradshaw does not mean to lie but he keeps giving answers to people based on speculation. He is not totally independant as he needs someone to pour the castings and then to machine them. If one of those two falls through he is dead in the water. I know from talking to Dick in person at Indy he has had problems in getting the block cast and without blocks no machine work can get done. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

An aftermarket TA BBB may or may not happen. Keep in mind, there has been an aftermarket TA V6 engine available for several years and continues to be produced. Surely TA Performance would have produced a V8 engine first, instead of a V6, had there been enough call for it's production. Possibly there may not be enough BBB fans willing or able to come up with the bucks necessary to get the aftermarket BBB block into production. A supply and demand issue? With that said, I must say I hope a vendor, be it TA, Bulldog or someone else, steps forward to produce a BBB aftermarket block in quantity and the production of same generates sufficient interest (purchases) to keep it in production for years to come.

Hopefully someone will take over Dicks mess and just make the blocks. Everything is already set, they just need to be made.

What about the Popular Hot Rodding article about the block?
"They're currently filling backorders." The say the block is available in iron or aluminum. Any updates?

Because that is what dick told them. I email Dick over two years ago and he told me the blocks were just starting to ship. Maybe they are just held up in the shipping department.... :bglasses:

Bradshaw is having machine shop issues. The previous machine shop decided that doing the buick blocks were not profitable enough to continue with. I beleive a friend of DB (who owns another machine shop) has stepped up and purchased and has taken delivery of a new CNC machine so he can machine them himself. He is tired of relying on undependable machine shops to do the work that he has to get done before shipping these out. The machine is installed, leveled, wired, and is ready to transfer the program to the new machine to do the work on the remaining blocks. This will give DB more control on the quality of the machine work. This machine will be dedicated to the bulldog blocks only. This is straight from the horses mouth. There's your update.....................

Anyone that has been watching these threads for the last 4 or 5 years is an expert on this bull dog LIE. Its been to many years of the block is being shipped. The problem is I have talked to the horse in the past and it was ALL lies. This whole bull dog thing is like a very very bad joke:af: Mike your a smart guy don't fall for his verbal diarrhea........Chris

Huh ?? Lies?? I know of several blocks done and delivered until the machine shop issues came out. Are you saying that BOBB MACKLEY never got a block?? Kevin Stevens?? what about mine?? I hope you never ever have any deals that takes to long, according to ANYONE that has NOTHING financially invested, I would hate to see what will be said. You as a business man shouldnt throw any stones around you might hit your own car..............

Mike, many people paid for there blocks a very long time ago under terms that he could not keep. Yes you should except delays and problems on a project like this, but this bd thing has gone on WAY to long. This blaming machine shop's is a bunch of BS. This is what DB does for a living and according to him he's been doing this for a long time. So my guess is he should know with in REASON when he went into this project how long and how much money this would take :Dou: Had he told me 3 years ago that he did't think he would have them out for another year or so instead of they will be ready in two weeks send all your money BS I wouldn't so PO'D. If it wasn't for a board member here talking me out of sending the cheque to DB I to would be sitting here with no block or money :Dou: And I can't wait to thank him in person some day, I would thank him on here but he will must likely get attacked also so I won't mention is name. At the rate these blocks are pooring out my son will be 25 or so, he's 8 now. I can't wait that long. This is ONLY my opinion that I formed from my dealings with DB, Sorry you don't like them but they are real................Chris

For the record I sent my money in as far back as the first week of this deal so dont tell me about how long it took. What has me PO'd is all these people like YOU that have not invested in a block. But you repeatedly drum it up again. Yes your pissed, Yes maybe you have a right to be. BUT, do I care ?? NO, Not in the least bit !! In fact, I couldn't care less after your actions here. Everyone in the Buick world knows how you feel about this, because you relentlessly remind everyone. If the word Bulldog is stated, it's almost predictable that you WILL be in to remind everyone that you know more about the blocks than all of us. Do you have ANY idea how ignorant you look by doing this ? Obviously not I assume. Unfortunately, because of YOUR comments and actions here, there are other block owners that refuse to post ANY information about what they are doing. Because of you, by name specifically, and by your posts here ( I have been emailed about this directly) !!!Does that do anything to help the Buick community ? Having people stop posting information because of those that know everything(or so they think). I think not personally.

You go ahead and think what you want. Post what you want. I don't care. I just find it hard to believe that some people can be so blind. VERY few people actually KNOW all the facts involved with this deal. I suppose some think they know all about it too.
