I also find that humorous but their arguement is that their cars have more horsepower per cylinder....who gives a fock?:Do No: your still slow.

Scott, I don't believe the Autotap allows you to do any PCM tuning, it's a scan tool only:

As the first PC-based OBDII scantool, AutoTap, provides a proven solution for thousands of satisfied customers. AutoTap takes the complexity out of vehicle diagnostics.

Read/clear trouble codes with simple text descriptions
Diagnose bad sensors (Oxygen, MAP, MAF, misfire)
Create your own virtual dashboad by customizing your own graph, gauge, and table
Evaluate 11 system monitors to determine EPA readiness
    Save freeze frame information

The SC3800 crowd seems to prefer the HP Tuners or DHP tuning options. These tools do allow you to make changes to your PCM, such as shift points, line pressures, fueling, etc. Or they also sell PCM's that have already been modified to suit your setup. I haven't gone this route yet with my Riv, but recently bought an LS1M scan tool for monitoring details such as KR as I begin to make some mods to my 98 Riv this summer. Lots of knowledge can be found at www.regalgs.org or www.hollandms.com
