I'd sell my 71GS 455 4spd convert for $32K, $5K less, and although it's originally a 350 3spd column shift car converted to 455 4spd, it would be basically the same for $5K (15%) less. The value should be in the quality of the car, not just how it was originally put together. My rule of thumb has alwasy been to buy something of best quality. Aside from a chattering clutch, this is a nice one. I need to get around to fixing that.

John I think the 70 stage vert ended up in IL, and I thought the money was stronger than 15,000. It was a gto guy that was selling it out of northern US or Canada I think.

You are correct. It was a gold car and it was a mess.

that board member Jason refers to being me, yes, the seller advised it's not the original block or the original trans.

I did get Sloan verification that it was a factory 4 speed with N25 and even those bumper guards.

Assuming the heads, carb and dist. aren't original either, the only Stage 1 parts it has are the emblems. So IMO he's asking much too much.

Great color though and probably pretty close to one of one (26B, N25)

He sold it 33K to someone in NJ? . It was a nice original straight car but needed an engine bay clean up,chrome work and interior attention. I was up and down and found no #'s that matched:Do No:
