Yes, but even frames can be swapped so to be 100% sure it's the original frame you also need to find the VIN which is often very hard to find if the body is still attached. But the 1237139 BA will be stamped on the side of the frame behind the driver side rear wheel.

The numbers matching OW transmission proves it's a Stage 1 car. The 183 stamped on the OW transmission tag means 183rd day of 1970 (not 183rd day of 1971) which also indicates it's for an early production car which is true for this car since it was built the 2nd week of September 1970.

"The numbers matching OW transmission proves it's a Stage 1 car." I believe a former owner did post that pic.

I did ask the seller for carb and dizzy pix. I could never find non-service replacements for my old car.

I would ask for current photos to verify that OW transmission with the matching VIN is still in the car, just to be sure. Trust but verify, right? :)

    Guys,
From the few numbers/letters I can read on the build sheet, and that is over my phone, it does not appear to be from a Stage 1.

Just because it was found on the car, I would want to make sure either the body or vin number on the sheet matches the car before I would “assume” it was correct for the car.
