Sad to see the dreaded brown letter BFGs rearing their ugly heads again.

Looks to be a factory a/c car but like so many it's missing a lot of parts. At least they can't say it just needs a charge.

Car is a mess imo....70 hood bar..chevy windshield washer jug....and just edgy in general

Anyone that would use that washer jug is a hack

I wouldn't drive it if given to me

It was an A/C car, it has the dash A/C switch and A/C dash vent. Also, it has added GSX side view mirrors. Vet

The mirrors were optional on '71-2

Thanks Dano, didn't know the GSX mirrors were optional for the 71 & 72 GS Buicks.

Too bad Buick didn't do that for the 70 Buick GS's. I love the look of the bullet mirrors. VET

Kerry, speaking of period correct, isn't your Buick a 70 GS? It didn't come with GSX mirrors, and a rear spoiler did it. LoL :p:D

They are called "Sport Mirror" not GSX mirror.

Correct, or should I say not correct?

I posted the period correct thinking that this car in Charlotte could be a 350 car originally

    I see. it's listed as a "1971 Buick GS400 455". I don't believe I've ever heard of a GS being both. LoL VET (Navy)

    Thanks, I stand corrected.
Since they were not an option for the 1970 Buick GS 455, I just got used to saying GSX mirrors and I also use that term to search on-line for them.

I have these "Sport Mirrors" (that originally came off a GSX) on my 70 GS 455. I love these mirrors even if they are not "correct" for my car.
Adds a little more muscle look to the car. :D:rolleyes:

Classic car prices must be in the tank for Streetside to have even a cobbled up gs priced that low.
