'70 vs. '71 GS Door panel emblems

It looks like the '70 doesn't have the bevel towards the perimeter groove

 

In the one pic I posted of the back of someone holding it, the pin has a clip & created an illusuon (at least how I was looking at it) where I thought there were 2 pins at the bottom

Something seems different on the perimiter.

 

That was great - I had no idea from the other pics it was shaped quite like that. Thanks!
