I was assuming it was #'s matching but...

The 3 speed manual was the standard no cost transmission. You could opt for automatic or 4 speed.

Not correct for a disc brake car.

    No, they're not that great...:(
IDK, if that car came with white-walls, would you want it?
It's a nice vibrant color though....:)
Stock, as optioned doesn't do anything for me I guess. Think h.p. robbing smog pumps....

Very cool , no vinyl top. Old resto so no worries driving . Wonder how rusty that Illinois car was needing a full resto by 1990 ?

That's a valid point. Lots to be said for all original body panel cars.

Absolutely love it. I will never buy a car from Mecum, Barrett, etc. on principle and I suspect this one will likely sell on auction day however if it doesn't and it has the "born with" drivetrain and the owner is lurking on this site, PM me after the auction for a serious discussion.

They never post pre-resto / during resto photographs do they ?

Pretty remarkable car. I see a couple of items which are incorrect, but are easily remedied.

Did anyone see what this one was bid up to? It didn't sell. As well, there is no mention if the engine is "born with" or even "number matching" but maybe Mecum doesn't want to even get into that realm in their descriptions? By chance does anyone know if this is an original powertrain car?

    85k high bid ( pretty accurate ) . That 200K estimate , was some marketing malarkey .
