I suspect at that price they are unloading the older units that do not have the spark control.
You won't know until you get the unit.

The throttle bodies are only rated at 750 cfm and will not make as much power as the other 1000+ cfm units on the market.

The injectors shoot fuel on the throttle plates rather than under the throttle plates directly into the intake manifold.
That's ok at full throttle but less that ideal for idle and part throttle.

FAST EZ EFI self learning systems do not control fuel above 1 bar or boost. When I spoke with then at last years PRI show they said it was too complicated and risky to have self learning software try to deal with both turbo and supercharger applications.

Instead, this year they have created an intermediate user tunable XFI Sportsman that will work with the EZ EFI throttle body.
It's good up to 5 bar and since it does bank to bank it is compatible with Throttle Body Injection

Wow, great build. I was gone from here when this thread was created. Let's bump this one up.

My orig./sequential 350 build ('80's) was somewhat similar - Stock '70 HC bottom end/heads, TA intake, QJ, Hookers, 3.73, KB Mk II cam, M-21, 2½" exhaust. I was running consistent 104 MPH but 14.01 was the best time I ever ran - Was a kid & sure wish I'd have known something (anything, lol) about tuning & suspension - It was awful off the line (2-2.5 60" times IIRC). I'm sure it had a little to do w/everything (carb, suspension, tires, driver, etc.). Missed a shift & overrevved that one (bent a valve - Still ran 14.20's), then a couple other issues led to a 10 year body off resto. Car was also low option/bench seat - No PS/AC/PB so relatively light.

Unfortunately I never got the next engine to the track & sold the car. Only real changes were rebuilt bottom end, big valve ported heads, true 10.5 SCR, KB C118 cam, balanced. IIRC I ran the same carb but w/a spacer. Car was definitely much quicker. @BuickGSrules said w/tuning (engine & suspension - Not sure exactly what but Jan is a racer & has told me he wished he'd never sold that engine) it ran a best of 11.61 - Don’t think I could've done that & was shocked - I figured it had mid-high 12's in it but it did feel wicked fast on the street. My next step on that one would've been 4.10's although I still didn't know squat about tuning/suspension and the time/$ would've been better spent on that.

All this 350 talk gets me excited to build another one but I have 2 basket case GS's to build. Goal on my next 350 4-sp is high 12's on a 100% stock appearing engine. Maybe the other GS (auto) will get an SP & aluminum heads, etc. I do have a decent Skylark here but I really need to get these cars done right now more than I need to go racing:).

I'm aware:). I was also quite surprised @ the time Jan said my old car ran however, @ 104 MPH before the rebuild, let's say tuned, tires, & suspension, the car was capable of 13.0 (m/l) which seems reasonable based on the OP's times/MPH. Now add the ported/big valve heads, better cam (seems KB might have been onto something w/their 350 grinds), bit higher comp., carb spacer, open element air cleaner, balanced (fwiw) - What's all that worth? Another second? Maybe 1¼? Not that far off what he says it ran & he's a very experienced driver/tuner. I'd bet my old car was lighter too and it seems that the way his car launches that he might be leaving something on the table. It also seems, and the KB build in the 80's confirms (can't remember what they picked up but it was significant) that these 350's run better w/4-sp. Maybe it's just a matter of hitting the peak HP an extra time - Idk.

Maybe I just got lucky but I certainly didn't do anything overly special - Just a lot of planning. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can duplicate that success:). I've even considered getting Scotty to make me an old KB C118 grind although the idea of a hydraulic roller is certainly interesting/appealing. Sure seems like my old build w/an SP intake and a lightweight rotating assy (I happen to already have a set of lightweight rods for a future build:)) would've been a screamer.

Did the guy in the vid (can't remember his name off hand) wind up going w/higher gears? Last I talked to him on FB he was running 3.42 but I thought he wound up going higher.

I think 456 but not positive. FB members would be able to find specs.

Sweet! Well look at it this way, you take the work while you can get it since it won't be forever and when it is done there will be plenty of cash to get the projects done.
    462 Pontiac Yeah!!

I use the Total Gym to combat Old Man Syndrome, this helps with getting in and out of the vehicle and off the chair, lol

I do 20 minutes 4 days a week and do the whole body without stopping between sets, that way I get my cardio and a good muscle workout. I do 25 reps of each body part and move on to the next one. After a few months I move the pin up to the next one and go until I hit 25 reps of each exercise.

I have been doing this for about 4 years now and have moved up a bunch since then, next week I go to the 2nd pin from the top and do that for a good 6 months before I try to go to the top pin. But by then it will be summer and usually you have to back off and go down 1 pin since I won't be doing this as much and will miss a day or two here and there, Grass mowing will be taking over. I have pumped iron on and off for about 30 years now and this Total Gym is what I am down to now lol.

My regular job has me walking all day do I do about 3 miles or 9-10,000 steps a day so I got that part covered. I got a year and a half to go before retirement and I am doing the same as trying to get that IRA pumped up.
