Too bad the other thread went sideways. The auction ends in a few hours and a pretty nice Stage 1 GSX is only at $76k. Any predictions on the final bid amount? Even though it is NOM and had factory air added (done correctly and blows cold air), I think it is still a $90-95k car in todays market...
Considering whatever blemishes this car may have, if it had still been a non A/C car, it would already be on its way to my house. That being said, I hope it does real well, as that could bode well for my car, should I put it up for sale.
i agree, if you have the resources to do it that way. saves alot of the drama. this is a really nice driver gsx. i dont think the 86k bid was out of line for the car? i wonder if it was a factory 4 speed how much more $$$ if any it would be?
i have to disagree on the 125k all day long. i am just seeing a REALLY nice daily driver that needs some attention that is missing its original engine. i have seen here many people say missing original engine should be a 15-20k hit. i know there should be some kind of dollar penalty, but maybe 5-10k should be max in my opinion. i wish my gsx was this nice! but i will be SHOCKED if this car sells in the near future over 97k. charlie
The rich bat bidders have spoken , it’s an 86 car all day . Nothing to sneeze at . That’s almost 100 after sales tax , shipping ect .
Assuming reserve was $100k (Idk that), you should've bought it to flip. That's what he was asking. I doubt they got anywhere near but still a nice payday after paying $25k.
You must think I'm rich or something lol It's a really nice car. Auctions are funny to predict. It's all about timing. Is a month after Christmas the best time to sell a high dollar car? People aren't exactly flush with cash right about now. Plus an auction is all about who's watching/ bidding that week. If it were my car, I'd put a set of G60s on it, get the Wayne Roberts to pacify the masses and relist it after everyone gets their tax returns. I bet you it does a lot better
