You've missed my point. This might be a sign that your old man wants you to keep the car and finish it. It should have sold the first day for what you're asking.

I know, id love to, but with me buying my brothers 68 gs 400......and very unplanned very expensive purchase.......to keep this car in the family, I physically won't have the room, time, or money for 2 racecars and a street car.

So even though we bought this one to build for him and I to have racecars.........one of the his personal request to me b4 he went to this surgery just a few week b4 his passing.......was if my brother ever was to sell his 68 that we all built together, if I could find any way to afford it, to get so that one of his other 2 grandson may one day get to enjoy it.

Several very unique opportunities have opened up and worked my way in a beneficial manor that has allowed me to magically have the just enough funds to swing the 68, I see the crumb trail daddy is leaving crystal clear

Thank you for the support, its been alot of changes in life the past few years. But have gotten alot of loose ends tie up and fixed since his passing. Alot has been done to update his and mom's house so it should run without needing major work for many many many years......with my sister and her young kids living with me and no one there to fix what breaks on the fly that has been a major priority. I'm sure my own house and family has felt back burner from time to time......but 2 full households has taken alot of time and work. The shop output has suffered between that and the time required of me to run the kids. But the lord has provided with advancement in the wife's career........

Behind the senses I've gathered just about all the major parts I think will be needed to take the racecar to the next level.......it might not be alot faster, but will be more durable and hopefully more consistent. We were running too fast on not good enough parts to keep up.

This other car has just become one more think to store and up keep........the return of funds is going to go to upgrade the rear axle.......most likely going to go with an s60 with 40 splines.....its over kill but I should never have to fear rear axle damage.

The new transmission from extreme automatic is sitting in the race trailer, along with the new 10" wide rims. New stiffwall slicks and then I can see if I need to shorten the width a little to help fit.......or maybe look to do a mini tub.

There is a 464 sitting at finishline waiting to be picked up and 494 sitting in my shop. New msd grid system and new TRZ front suspension........

I have 1 more major loose end to tie off.....finish reflecting Bobbs boat and new carpet..........have to finish recovering from elbow surgery first.......then I can finish it, return it to Bobb and get my 464 shortblock. Then start the racecar rehab/upgrades.
