Knock him down to $2,500.....maybe. Lots of potential, nice solid car to start with. Tilt steering and power windows too, WOW!

If thats the car from Portland, the trunk may be gone. The Portland GS400 went South maybe ten years ago. Should have lots of dog hair in it, elderly people bought it new. Still has lots of life left. I bet the timing gear went.

Friend of mine looked at it back in Sept. when it was first listed for sale.

Car has some rust issues in the trunk, around rear window, lower quarters. Of course, these are "rust issues" to a west coast guy, which means surface rust to an east coaster.

Rust issues means different things to different people. That car is a nice $2500 car. 1st, it is nicely optioned and still has the star wars air cleaner. It's a true GS400. Love the white interior, power windows, tilt, white buckets.

And don't forget the A Body catalog and used parts support. That's a nice project even with some typical rust. That's what MIG welders are for.

People on the west coast have no idea what real rust is:D

Then that is the car from Portland. I sold that star wars to the original owners back in the 90's. Someone jumped their fence and snatched the original one, I dont know how with that dog!.

I thought the same thing about that Star Wars Air Cleaner - that someone who knew would go after the air cleaner. They probably didn't know at the time it was rare and in demand.

For most of us viewing from across the U.S., this is all about location. Most of us can't go after the car because of the distance and here you so close. If you want it, go get it, Merry Christmas.

  18. I finally broke down and called at 4:15 and the car had just been sold. what a relief. i'm not sure i could have said no if i had seen it in person. it was worth near that much in parts alone
