Hi,i`m not sure which `67 GS 400 casting number is correct for pass. side RH exhaust manifold is it the 1238094 or 1383648?

    Thank you

    1238094 - RH side exhaust manifold '67 400, 68-69 400,70-73 455, 74-75 455.
1383648 is the part # supplemented for the original 1238094, in all years except the 74-75. Most likely the same thing.
Not sure on this but I believe at times the casting #was a digit or two off from the part number.

Hockey season up here in full swing. Spend most of the winter "off hours " at the rink!1245443 supplemented by 1378117 '67 400 V8 Left side.
1377139 doesn't appear in my book. Might be for a 400 in a different/larger car.

I checked the book again. '68 & 69 used the same manifold but the supplement number was changed to 1384089.
This might help in your search if you want the "correct" ones

the 67 drivers manifold is easy to spot. it is totally different than any of the other years and is also the best flowing of them all. if you need a confirmation on the number i can shoot a picture of the one on my 67 parts car tomorrow. Bob

    George,

For what it's worth, I have a '67 400 left side exhaust manifold. It has casting #1377139-1, which, except for the "-1", matches your number. It should look like the one in this picture:

Larry so then it is correct but why so many different casting #`s? :Do No:

thats odd. all the 67 manifolds i have ran across have the tapered seat on the heat riser and not on the manifold like yours. actually i think i like yours better since it' doesnt require the heat riser to attach an exhaust pipe. wanna trade?.. :Brow:

i cant go shoot a pic until tomorrow but if you look at larry's picture of his entire drivers side of the engine you can plainly see it.
