They were using the Ford Toploader 3-speed from 67 to 69, floor shift models- column shift 68's and 69's were different! (my 69 GS350 has the 3-speed floor shifter Ford) 70 models had the Muncie HD 3-speed according to my little bit of research.

Huh? Yeah, I'm awake!... I'm between Philly and Allentown. The parts are in Waynesboro, but Mapquest is showing two Waynesboro's in Pa.... I'm 100 miles from the one near Lancaster, and 174 miles from the one near Hagerstown Md. Figures the parts are in the town further away...so thats a 6 hour round trip from here. I'll have my stuff shipped!
