Actually a lot of the sets are new. I know Bobb used a set on Anthonys 370 inch small block. As far as used from NASCAR those things never see much over 9000 rpm's, what's the big deal :laugh: For real though I never see those guys throwing a rod. Real unusual for a bottom end to come apart.
I have one of TA's early kits bought either in the spring of 94 or 95 at the Nationals. Sorry to say its been on the shelf since. Now I finnally am going to build it. Block girddle, BME & Crower pistons and rods. ported stage 3 raised port heads. stage2 TA intake. This is going into a 65 Stylark. hoppfully be running this comming spring. Hoping for 9.'s .:3gears:
My whole rotating assembly is used! If you do go used, just have a competent machine shop check it out for ya. Tuna
3200 lb GS...Turbo 400 (dynoed) and 3:73 ten bolt, the good rear with a mini-spool. Best stroker to use and estimated e.t. and mph?? Just searching, thanks.
