Im ready! I think LOL Im going anyway:bla: Waiting for my 1/2" pick-up from RobbMc, then run the 1/2" line to the pump.
I'll know if I'm going by the end of June. Depends how much progress I can make Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
Of course you guys will be there. Talk is cheap but actual ET's really say something. I'm not bringing a 350 car but I will be making the tow out. However, I'll be watching the weather closely. A 7 hour tow is a little too far just to get rained on. Keeping my fingers crossed for dry and reasonably cool(not 90*).
What's the problem, the engine is in there with headers so it looks like you're not ready to turbo it yet so you should be able to start the engine with a couple hours of work looks like in the pic. o No: 2 hours of work shouldn't take 2 months, what's up? Is the wedding planning taking up to much time? When is the date? The "date" doesn't coincide with the meet does it? If so I think you can be excused. LOL :beer Derek
Unfortunately doesn't seem like I will be doing the turbos this season. Hopefully this winter I will. The wedding is June 4th so It's been hard to get to the shop with this rush wedding planning. There isn't a ton of work but it always seems like something comes up. I have to finish getting the trans in so I can measure for a new driveshaft, gotta finish all the ecu wiring. Make coil brackets, reroute fuel lines, make a crank sensor bracket, pin the trigger wheel once I find out where it needs to be on the pulley. It is close though =p I just want to get a few hundred miles on the car before making the drive to the event. A long road trip is a terrible place to discover a driveabillity issue haha Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk
Wife and I are leaving in a bit, were staying at the her folks in Norwalk. I hear yah on the weather! I told the wife if were roasting (and we Will be) were out by 2 pm. I'm going to see what this is all about, walk around, BS a bit, hopefully make some passes. Not looking forward to the heat!
The current density altitude for Norwalk Raceway at 4PM today is 3215 feet. 89.1*, barometer 29.97, 53% humidity. Track elevation is 849 feet above sea level. I wish you guys luck, but you will not be setting any records I fear.
I hear you Steve, they're calling for a high of 96* for Norwalk tomorrow!! :eek2: Was considering to go but I think I'll stay here where it is only suppose to be a high of 89* tomorrow. Good luck to all that are going to endure the elements to attend, have fun!!(and drink plenty of water!) Derek
I had to bow out also, the heat got to me on Saturday and wiped me out for today, Sorry guys want to be there just can't. Quaker is open for test and tune on Fridays if anyone is interested.
I got one pass, then RAIN:af: Left at 10:30 for homeou: Saw No Lift there, After my second run which never happened, I wanted to go over and introduce myself, but the weather turned bad, plus I had other obligations crop up.
