I’ll take the red 70, the white one has some issues and it sold for 185,000 couple years ago.

 

Those are beautiful cars. 71 Cutlass SX is sweet!

 

A ‘71 Zone car in the mix, and a ‘42 Dodge-that’s got to be rare.

Yes, I owned/restored the 71 Stage 1 Zone Demo car. It’s a solid, rust free, numbers matching concours gold car (GS Nats and MCACN) that had Polyglas GT’s on it when I sold it in 2018. Very nice car that I would love to have back but too much $ in todays market.

It turned out awesome James. These are the first detailed pictures I've seen.

 

The think white Stage 1 convertible was restored by Dan V (Postsedan on V8buick).

 

Please do enlighten me....what are the issues with the White 1970 GS Stage1 Convertible 4 speed???

 

Just from the few pictures, no 70 GS came with sport mirrors other than the GSX. The consolette has 4 to 6 hole repairs that you can’t mess, The chrome oil filter cap is not correct all are easy fixes though. that’s probably the reason why It didn’t score higher in Chicago. Great car though I’d still rather have the red one.

 

If that's our old car, someone changed out the original black top and original black interior and added a tilt wheel...but all this is possible..

 

Thanks Glen. For some reason, I thought you saw it when I took it to BG in 2013. I really regret selling it as it was such a great car, but my job loss in 2018 forced me to sell it as we had a son in college and one still at home in high school. Thanks again for the introduction to the Brogger’s.

 

John – I think Ajesh has been shoveling too much snow. That is not your old car!

 

Geez, for a Concours Gold award (scoring 991 of 1000 points) at the Muscle Car and Corvette National.....and Judge's Choice as the Best Buick in Show....I would certainly never ever call out such a car as having issues....especially with the few items that you noted.
But then again....this is what separates me from you.

 

There’s right and then there’s right, And that white car should be done right. I dig it and if it landed in my garage it would get corrected quickly.

 

I can’t get over the brown interior, but that’s me, beautiful car, wondering if I can sell a kidney to scrape up some more cash

 

That’s probably what it’s gonna take, or maybe a second mortgage…..
