I have 3.5 66 Wildcats now what a few more....

 

I like that teal color, that would be my choice but no way can I live with that bench seat and non custom interior. I get it they are GS, but these cars are not getting restored. No one will pull the trigger. If they were 1970 GS455 cars they would be gone.

 

Yeah, I'd much prefer the Custom interior, the standard set does nothing for me. Either way, a person would have to buy all or nothing. I wish I was there, I'd probably buy the lot. However at where I'm at, it isn't worth it to even try to import one of those cars.
I don't think these cars will get restored for a couple of years yet. I'm thinking the late 60s stuff will probably peak in value in the next 5 years and then start it's decline like the 50s stuff is now doing. Wildcat GS will always have a good cult following, the most valuable ones being the fully loaded 2 doors and convertibles. Bare bones cars (unless they have a super rare options package) won't garner as much as the loaded ones will.

 

Glad I have a stripped super rare documented 2 tone 2dr and a fully loaded convertible.
No plans to get rid of either, although the offers and valuation on the coupe are much higher than the convertible.
As the parts hunt continues.
Looking at a local 66 Cat tomorrow that I found behind a house recently.

I've got a '66 Cat 2dr. hdtp. I'm parting out. Has a darn near PERFECT grille. Haen't looked closely, but the doors appear rust free.

 

I'm still looking for a decent black steering wheel from a 66...and I might be talked into a full A/C package if anyone has one...

 

Hence why I am so frustrated. This guy drove me nuts with his unresponsiveness and unwillingness to make a package deal. Plus the cars are just wasting away. Some People!!
