I just connected my aftermarket notometer (autometer) to the port in front, but I like this idea here! It looks like a better way to keep the oil line (mine's mechanical) away from the headers and out of the way.

I'm not very impressed with Autometer. My temp guage went out after about a year, and they sent a very chincy thin plastic line for the oil pressure guage! I'm NOT impressed one bit! I'll buy a dirt cheap one before I buy another Notometer! :af:

That article on the rear passage mod should apply to both electrical and mechanical sending units I believe

Right, here we go... im back

Hi guys it has been a long time since i have been on
car was put on hold due to job loss.but all is now good with new job.

I have been very busy with the car, engine has just been re-bored 30 thou over, forged pistons, refurbished 73 rods, dual grooved cam bearings,
crank just needed polishing, molly rings, heads are home ported here are some pics.:Smarty:

You may have noticed in the first picture that on strip down found two types of rod had been used to build engine before. This was a stock engine with standard bore 73 block.

After painting the engine noticed the machine shop had put the bearings in up side down so shop are now getting new dual grooved bearing at their cost and fitting for me. Going with a fogger nitrous system about 300 shot depending on what bhp the engine produces.
I am hoping to get this all done for end of July as there is a meeting at the track then and put some runs on the engine.
I have also been working on the body, Changing the colour to mat black, Refurbished the front grill by plastic welding and repainting,
    Modified the Hood see pics.

I have also bought an airbag kit for the rear end.

I am hoping to get into the 11's if not quicker.
