John Csordas and I went and looked at is car when we were at the BPG. Pretty original, although there were some things that were modified, or incorrect. I think he was in the 30-40k range on it. Cool car, but you have to like the 73's to appreciate it.

One of the "Rose" cars I believe, like "Little Joe". Joe Lawton (Little Joe) had pictures of this car coming off the trailer new. Purchased to be a race car from day one. I almost bought it in the Youngstown area in early 1994. It traded hands a number of times after that, the price first dipping and now on the rise with this last owner making it far more of a street car I guess. It had aluminum rods and a really low gear (4.33's) or something like that which was why they had blown the original motor.

Bill definitely knows about the car. I'm glad it's posted here and to see it again. This is the one that I always have my mind on...

Looks like the bumper was pulled in/hydraulic cushions removed.

Very cool car. Is there only one picture?

Yes they were and no there are more pictures. I was keeping up with the car through Al Kuehn, who lived nearby what I assume is still the current owner.

Wow, the holy grail of 73s in my mind...hmmmmmmmm:beer

it would take a big fan of these cars to pay 30k-40k for it. Kind of a niche market

Seems like it would be in the 15k range and I would be nibbling.

You can't buy a decent new car for that. It may be a 73 but a 4peed, stage 1, original paint I have to believe has more value than that.

I wouldn't believe it if you said Phil Roitman hasn't bought his plane tickets already or he's not pulling an empty trailer out.

If I had the scratch I would own it. I happen to love the 73-76 Centurys. I think it was George Hall's 74 Stage 1 Racecar that did it for me.

Maybe why Phil R hasn't commented on this post he is on the way to get it?????
