Beautiful car. Even has the wonderful A.I.R. pump intact. :p

Wow. I'm not a guge bench seat/col. shift fan but I'd love to own that one assuming it's truth in advertising.

I would but it's not my kind of car, I would never drive it.

Man, the number of 72 Stages coming up recently is funny given they only made 728 of them!

I know what you mean. I'd drive it but very sparingly and I'd never race it. No fun there.

I have a one of five 72 Stage 1’s (it’s trashed) behind the barn but yes, I have seen a bunch lately too.
Maybe they forgot a zero on production numbers (7280).

This car sold at auction about 8-10 years ago, not a $65k car to me, I’ll rather keep mine not even a trade for it.

I think this car may have been at the GS Nationals in the mid 80's. If so. Beautiful car. Anyone else remember a Black low mileage 72?

Yes, I do, and I think there are several pictures of it that were posted recently. Nick Sloops comment on mileage. IIRC, it was there another year with original Polyglass on the front and whitewalls on the rear. Out of TX maybe? 2nd photo Mark Bedar - 1984

Pictures from the current eBay auction. Don't like the owner holding back original wheels and tires on something this correct.

Looks nice. Can anyone here make the window sticker legible?

From the ebay auction. A little better but not great:

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

This car was at the GS Nats in the early/mid 90s and I took sone photos of it. The owner actually ran it down the 1/4 mile and I made a note on one of the photos that it ran 14.48. Even then I thought it was cool that the owner wasn’t afraid to run it.

    That's readable - Thx!

Why would it have a line item for "Special Car Order" and then what appears to be "Paint" although doesn't look lihe an "N."

    It was orig black.
