Black was not one of the standard colors offered as seen on the order form. I always thought it was strange. But 25 black Stage 1 hardtops were built anyway (10 of those had a black vinyl top like the car on eBay).

I agree. Ask $65k for a low mileage original car but the original wheels and tires aren’t included unless the buyer pays more? I don’t get it.

I never realized that. I'd always wanted a triple black '72 but most any of the colors (& either no or a black top) would look good with all the black '72 accents. I'd really like one of the 13 SCO Charcoal Mist. Had a chance to buy a 350 4-sp in that color & wish I had. My first GS was a Heritage Green '72 & I'd like to get another '72 someday.

IMHO $65k isn't unreasonable for the car & upon inspection if I had the space/$ would consider it but to not incl. the orig. wheels/tires for that definitely rubs me the wrong way.

Are you familiar with a light green '72 Stage 1 4 speed in your neck of the woods?

Cars like this are like a trophy wife. Great to look at, but you worry every time she goes out.

I've got a vague recollection this particular GS was a in magazine article at one point.

I would drive the hell out of it. How often can you feel what a new GS drives like? It's not like it's your daily drive that's stacking up miles. Even if you drive it 1000 miles a year, you'll be dead before it hit 100k. Just be smart about where and when you take it....and maintain it. No one is driving this in snow or otherwise bad weather conditions.

Yes, it was in Muscle Car Review in the 90s and it was parked on a dragstrip in the photos. I'll look through my MCR collection this week and dig it up. I think this is one of those same photos used on the cover of this book.

Lame on not letting the wheels go with the car if they have been with it since day one.

$65K? Wonder what the reserve is?

I assumed it was $65k but maybe not.

The auction said the opening bid is $65K but also said RESERVE NOT MET. So, not sure.
