You chiming in again staffer? Like a kid with a stick.

I buy/sell convertibles and as Dr. House used to say, "everybody lies", so I have questions.

Paying to register to internet bid for each auction is such BS. Why should I pay $100 to ask questions? Just being a member of Mecum weeds out the time wasters and already provides all my personal information.

The VIN lets me easily know if I have run across it before. It is being presented as a Stage 1, but could easily be just a Skyark with a floor shift.

It has easily seen damage in pics, no details, etc. I skip the trust part and get to the business of verifying...

He is and I am as well but without a "stick".

It would behoove you to pipe down with the tone. The mods don't typically take too kindly to trolls with a penchant for stirring up crap. I can all but guarantee your posturing will eventually end up with you on the sidelines, thereby absent of the ability to post on yet another forum.

Again, being called a troll by an Admin.

I started the thread because it looked like a great Stage 1 example of a prime convertible (out of my league).

Then 72Stage1 linked the black '72 convertible, which is a classic example of a Mecum "no info" Stage 1 convertible (opposite of the blue one) and the "everybody lies" comment was directed at Mecum. They won't send the VIN, so I can't trace it back anywhere.

I wasn't throwing feces or blowing somebody up. BUT your boy CJay lit into me again for no reason, just a teacher's pet taking cheap shots in the courtyard for all to see and gang up on again - yet I get the teacher telling me to shut up.

Want to ban me, just send me the $200 I invested here a month ago and cut my cord...

Thanks for posting the link to my blue car at Mecum. Yes, I still own it, ever since 2011. As you all know, lots has changed pricewise on Stage cars since then, so what I paid for it is irrelevant. I can assure you, the car was a good start, but for those who saw it and had a chance to buy it at MCACN in 2011, they can attest that it didn't look like it does now or it would be in someone else's garage.

Much appreciated. This one has a lot of personal attachment for me, but it makes the most sense to let go of it at this time.

I am the admin here.. as well as the board owner.. just in case you missed the message I sent with your refund..

Ask and ye shall receive.. if you think that a couple hundred bucks buys you the right to disrespect my staff.. wow were you wrong. Don't let the door smack you in the ass on the way out..

Considering the number of complaints I have received in the short time you have been here, I suspect that the loss we took with the return of your donation will be covered many times over by the membership here..

    Goodbye..

71 there were nine stage 1 4 speeds, I bet it’s one of one or maybe two in that color combination.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

It surprising they only built 81 Convertibles, but offered 4 different green colors?

Unfortunately, the documentation I have does not get that specific. But with only 6 in that combo a 1 of 1 is a good guess, maybe 2?
