typical buick/car dudes want to give you low ball price to buy,and want BIG money to sell,IMO buicks will never make high end chevy or high end mopar HEMI money.

Really! This is the Leads section not cars for sale.

Your correct they won't,...but only because they aren't as popular,...that's where the whole "just because it's rare doesn't always make it valuable" idea comes from. If there were 30k stage 1's made and thet were $3500 like Chevelle SS's it would be different,...Mopar guys are just crazy,...and most of those rusted and returned to the earth by the early 80's

If you want to see our community crumble, start paying $7500 for rough ass skylarks like most people seem to think they are worth, and see how fast people run for the hills

I respectfully disagree. This is the leads section, so we're not messing directly with someone's (posted elsewhere) ad. Picking these big money cars apart from very obvious visual cues is fair game imo. Also, I love reading the commentary on some of these for sale ads as I've actually learned A TON as to things to look for in these cars. This commentary or "picking cars apart" is very educational in my book and I really enjoy it. And isn't education on these cars the core reason the board is here? I agree we should limit commentary on for sale ads here by members, but off board stuff like this isn't stepping on toes (unless maybe it's posted for sale here as well) and, again, is really informative. Besides, how many times does a thread pop up with someone asking "I'm looking at this car, what do you guys think?" and everyone "picks it apart" with commentary, which the prospective buyer is always appreciative of. So that's not really all that different. Just my $0.02

things ate different in cali, this car will prolly be bought with someones car allowance budget or some other form of not real dollars spent, and there might be a REAL good chance it will never be in a concours car show, rhis car is in an area where the money is different than your average joe has,its all relative

100% agreed. I've learned so much more about Buick's (especially GSs and GSXs) than I ever thought I would. I feel like if I went to look at something for myself now, I'd be much more able to spot obvious "indiscrepancies" in what the seller might be trying to pass off as original, or year specific properly restored.
