Trans vin# Hi Guys, the trans vin is not on the side plate. It is on the housing, just above the pan, opposite side of the plate. There is a thread that shows the exact location. Someone helped me out with this info. I don't recall what it was called. Good luck!
trans #'s I can't remember if it's the last 8 or ? of the VIN are stamped in the rail above the pan on the LHS. BTW, that 3 digit code (258) should match the stamp on the POP, after BB _ _ _ (if it's available) Probably isn't an issue on a matching #'s car, anyway
I too would love to own this one , I might even think about the Stage 1 Suncoupe as trading material . But I woud have to see if Bill V would want it first . I just can't seem to hit that lottery .
