For what it's worth. Here are the pics I shot of my frame number.
My frame was changed back in '88 after a accident in Sigtuna/Sweden with deadly outcome. I have no idea what my current frame comes from..Olds, Buick or eeek Chevy !!??

Date code looks like June 18, 1971 1st shift(6 18 71 1). Maybe late 71 or early 72 car. Not sure on part # but I will check #s I have access to later.

Jan, I checked the 70 and 71 Buick part numbers and is not one of those so maybe 72 Skylark or other GM division. Maybe someone with a 72 manual could check. It is not a 71 Olds either as I have that manual as well.

A GM Pontiac plant made frames for Buicks. A.O. Smith of Wisconsin was another supplier. So you can have you cars original frame even though it was made at another GM division plant. (Another manufacturer was Parrish Pressed Steel which I think is part of Dana Corp.)

Hayes is another frame manufacturer. That is wat mine is.

By the looks of it, my frame is a Parish frame. You can see the Parish stamp just above the frame number on the pics I posted before.
    Thanks for the info Jim.
