Ray- NICE!!! It's coming along.. Thank you, Dave Hanlon for helping getting this thing to move on its own http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq4Frfh5ldE&feature=youtu.be **Please ignore the groans and commentary... I don't like being in video's..
The first cut.. I have an original carpet from a 1969 GS 4 speed I am using for an outline..The final hole will be bigger with an odd shape. Also, note the shifter release pieces I am using... Feller gauges work as well (as noted in many posts on this board)..
Hi all. I took an 8 or so month hiatus from the board- 4 of those from Buicks all together.. Family, work, move, storage issues, women (LOL), etc.. I got the Maroon Goon roadworthy (1969 GS Stage 1 4 speed). I also had been looking for a 68-69 GS/ Skylark ragtop. Well, CHRIS POLLAK (cjp69) found one local to him- a 69 GS 400 ragtop- ORIGINAL OWNER CAR. Brokered the deal for me and should be in Massachusetts in the fall. I MAY drive it to the BCA meet in Oregon in July.. A couple of pics out of storage.. Will update with current pics- trim on, 15" ralleys, etc....
Ok Ted .. we need more details Stage1 with Power windows and rear defogger .. with a bench and a stick ? What rock did that crawl out from under ?
It may have crawled out from under a rock, but she's going to have to spend some time under the :dollar: tree!
Ted- her factory color combination is Burgundy Mist/ White top/ black bucket.. I stuck w. the color combo... Now that I yanked the 'built' engine out and placed the STOCK Stage 1 engine in, she runs GREAT!!!
