It's a brutal thing to say, but if the car is as solid and nice as the pics imply, it's worth every penny of that in parts! Clean front end sheet metal and quarter panel repair panels are all really tough to get.

Even as a driver 4 door cars are gaining in value. Seems hard to believe but they are showing up at the car shows and fetching attention..

    That IS brutal indeed.
It survived so long and looks really clean. A shame nobody would save such a 4door.
    Anyway better then getting crushed.

If you part it out, I might be interested in some trim part, depending on cond.

That spot on the right rear is well-fixed but just not painted.

The 18k miles is for real.

Well....not sure. The V6 is unbelievably smooth! I think the first thing to do with it is clean, polish, touch-up, and show at BCA events. After that, ???? I find the color quite boring, and there is a great color palette for the '67 Buicks; the neutral interior will coordinate with any of those great colors. Always liked the dark turquoise and verde green of that year. Also the maroon/burgundy shade, which just shouts '67 Buick. The original paint is a bit chippy and dead. On the other hand, they're only like this once. We'll see what a good wax job does for it. Also, the rear window bottom channel is problematic and needs to be addressed.

Sitting at a stoplight on the way home, car on the trailer. Guy in car next to us gestures to roll down window, so that he can bray: "That looks like a great home for a big block Chevy!" Wanted to see how scabbed up his knuckles were, but his gaping maw obstructed the view.

Can one of you '67 guys weigh in on what the original rubber "grommets" (for want of a better term) are supposed to look like where the front bumper top surface meets the front edge of the front fenders? I don't have a pic, but observed these to be sort of weird-looking, wondering it they are original. There is also a third one that looks almost the same in the center of the bumper, behind the center "point", which ostensibly would be protecting the bottom of the center of the grille.

Also, what's the scoop on grilles for these? Is there a repop? Obviously shared with the GS except for the emblem; this one is cracked but not looking terrible.

Another for the '67 guys: does one of you have a '67 service manual that calls off what the ride height should be? Car seems to sit quite low; I'm sure the springs are tired from all the years of sitting. Musing on whether I should replace right away or not, height specs would help the decision.

    It's currently sitting on 195/75-14.

Thanks Jim! Might have to bring this to the next Maple Lake gathering as a curiosity!

Here are the bumper cushions you were referring to https://www.ebay.com/i/352131184743?chn=ps

The grille is repopped, it will set you back $500.

Nice job. If I had it I would fix the mechanicals and enjoy it as a fair-weather driver. Good score!
