I think I'll drive this one to Columbus.
I'll need to order a bigger tent:laugh:
Who's in for an over/under pool ?? I say over 20 seconds e.t. o No: :3gears: :idea2:
Adam, Nice score!!! Me Likey. Seeing as how Missouri only allows us so much space on our tags, how about FIN-FAN Regards Marty
Sweet car Adam but it's still not a '59. haha jk hurry up and get it!
I wouldn't mind a 59 in the fleet, but the 58 comes first:beer
That thing is cool
another plate idea : BUIKLVR
You got one of my favourite models! And in my favourite color and body style!
I have seen a '58 Limited hardtop coupe which looks quite nice at a few local car shows. It looks good but unfortunately, the owner replaced it's triple turbine with a Dynaflow and he removed the factory a/c instead of repairing it...
Its so outta style that its cool!!!!
Got the car home..
It is a dynaflow - not a triple turbine.
The brakes work...sometimes. I had to keep one foot on the E-brake when I moved it around. It was like driving a stick
Interior is absolutely rotten. I ripped the carpet out (what was left of it) and vacuumed out the rust and nut shells. :error:
It runs well, though!
I like my 63's Dynaflow. It is just fine during regular driving, and Low is like a granny gear.
I believe the car was supposed to originally have the triple turbine, which is a neat transmission if it works correctly. The twin turbine (dynaflow) seems to work fine, though.
What is your shift pattern?
Is it different from your dashboard pattern?
It's nice... but couldn't you find something bigger?
P N D L R
What are your plans for it? Clean it up and drive or redo it?
