Am I going to be on the road?
How is it coming? o No:
LarKen and I will be their "Harvey it creamy or does it have a head " :Brow: Harvey are you coming down on friday or on saturday maybe some of the GS guys can go out to dinner or to our house for a BBQ
I talked to Harvey today, and he and Brenda are planning on driving down Saturday morning and going straight to the show, since they aren't bringing a Buick this year. I think they are planning on driving back home that evening.
Steve, you going to be around this year? I need a driver! :3gears:
Therein lies the surprise! It could be one or the other or both!
We're thinking we will just spend the day as I will be "Buickless" this year because I've had a delay getting the 67 painted. However, are you thinking Friday or Saturday for a get together??
I'll be there, but I won't be able to bring the Skylark out. Can only afford to bring one car out to WA right now. But I'll make it with my newly rebuilt (again) El Camino.
I'm still waiting to hear if I'll be heading east. They're supposed to select the classes 30 days beforehand. But this wouldn't be the first time that it was done with only a couple weeks notice either.
Hopefully I'll know more any day now.
Harvey get together on saturday after the show I work afternoons so I'll be at work on friday night
We have decided to stay over Saturday night in Bellevue. Count us in for dinner or BBQ on Saturday...whatever you decide works for us! :TU:
Wasn't this event June 19 last year?
I can't go as teenager graduation party that Saturday!
Bummmer. A bunch of guys can't come from Portland
because we all thought it would be June 18th...
Oh well... See you guys next year! o No:
It was a weekend later last year, not sure why it changed this year, I think the whole event (Meeker Days) changed weekends this year. Sorry to hear you guys won't be up. :ball:
It's still on a weekend, is it not?
There is a new "disclaimer" on the back of the form for this year.
Still on a Saturday, just one week earlier than it was last year.
Yep, I noticed that too! Kinda BS to me that every car with so much as custom wheels or a lowering kit will be competing against each other only. Well, that keeps the event more "pure" for all the old timers......
You coming out this year Jerry?
Probably not. My shop is not done and I my cars are spread all over town. So with no time and space I can't "git r done".
I just got the word - I'm going to be out of town on training during this time. Fortunately I may be able to see the Mariners playing AT the Washington nationals. Sure, it's not a Buick car show, but me takes what me can gets.
no problem Steve, happy to see my tax dollars hard at work!
o No: Well, change in plans. Looks like I'll be leaving tomorrow morning (27 May) for Seattle in the Buick, my Elky still isn't done. :af:
this really messed me up.. unfortunately I can't make it this year. I was planning on the same weekend last year and then saw it lands on the same one as a music festival I will be attending. I'm very angry I can't make it.. :af: if there is anything else Buick related going on (like the Bremerton BOP show??) I will do anything I can to be in attendance. Chris, drink a brew for me! :beer Todd, are you bringing the 67? I was really looking forward to seeing it..
