I talked to Harvey today, and he and Brenda are planning on driving down Saturday morning and going straight to the show, since they aren't bringing a Buick this year. I think they are planning on driving back home that evening.

    Hi Ken
Therein lies the surprise! It could be one or the other or both!

We're thinking we will just spend the day as I will be "Buickless" this year because I've had a delay getting the 67 painted. However, are you thinking Friday or Saturday for a get together??

I'll be there, but I won't be able to bring the Skylark out. Can only afford to bring one car out to WA right now. But I'll make it with my newly rebuilt (again) El Camino.

    Chris,

I'm still waiting to hear if I'll be heading east. They're supposed to select the classes 30 days beforehand. But this wouldn't be the first time that it was done with only a couple weeks notice either.

Hopefully I'll know more any day now.

It was a weekend later last year, not sure why it changed this year, I think the whole event (Meeker Days) changed weekends this year. Sorry to hear you guys won't be up. :ball:

Yep, I noticed that too! Kinda BS to me that every car with so much as custom wheels or a lowering kit will be competing against each other only. Well, that keeps the event more "pure" for all the old timers......

You coming out this year Jerry?

    gotbuick What, me worry?

Probably not. My shop is not done and I my cars are spread all over town. So with no time and space I can't "git r done".

    Chris,

I just got the word - I'm going to be out of town on training during this time. Fortunately I may be able to see the Mariners playing AT the Washington nationals. Sure, it's not a Buick car show, but me takes what me can gets.

this really messed me up.. unfortunately I can't make it this year. I was planning on the same weekend last year and then saw it lands on the same one as a music festival I will be attending. I'm very angry I can't make it.. :af: if there is anything else Buick related going on (like the Bremerton BOP show??) I will do anything I can to be in attendance. Chris, drink a brew for me! :beer Todd, are you bringing the 67? I was really looking forward to seeing it.. :(
