You have peaked my curiosity with the halo molding comment. Now that I look at this video of the 1975 coupe I almost bought, I can see you are very correct. Thanks for teaching me something today!!

wow so many options and configurations even back then . although id be old enough to remember I grew up overseas so these cars just weren't around when I was younger .

Yes this is before the day of consolidated options like today's Chevy LS, LT & LTZ option packages. Everything was usually a individual option. There are actually only a couple options that I DON'T like for the most part on these Buicks

ugh! tell me about it . I bought a 2018 GMC truck last September . a lot of options I wanted were included in packages I didn't want . ended up spending
less money that way . I purchased body trim , tinted windows and a few other things after buying the truck . very annoying

Oh My Goodness NO its NOT a daily driver. I don't think I could afford the gas alone lol The VERY best she ever got was 11 MPG's on the highway. Here is a little better description video of her.

cant say I blame you but id be tempted to drive and show that puppy off all the time . very very nice condition man im impressed .
mine is a daily (ish) driver . I only work 15 mins away and have two other vehicles I drive . only take the Buick out if I know for sure the weather
is going to be nice . no hail , rain , ice or snow . since I bought it last December ive been checking it out and doing minor improvements and repairs
so she's just about ready for show season .

Thats awesome. Would love to see a video of yours too!! The only thing I have have left to do is send my dash to "Just Dashes" in California. I have a small crack in my dash that most would never worry about but I am a perfectionist. It is just hard to part with $1500 at the moment for the dash restoration alone

yea that is pricey just for a small crack . ill probably do a video now and post it .

I agree its pricey. But they make a dash back to new condition. Here is a video of what they do if your not familiar

That reminds me of the time when one of my long legged friends got into the pass. side of my '75 and whacked into the corner of my PERFECT dash with his big ass knee, and cracked it!! SOB, i'm still pissed about it! If you have yours redone, make sure you warn EVERYONE who gets into your car to be careful of the corners that protrude.

So funny you said that!! I noticed when I was looking to buy my car that MANY examples had a crack right there on the drivers side. I always wondered what the issue was. Maybe the door hitting when slammed? But after I bought mine, the very second time I got in it, WHACK!! My knee hit the exact spot. I knew from then on what the issue was with the 75-76 dash cracks in that spot! All future owners BEWARE lol

I'm driving a 2013 Lacrosse these days and when my friend, who somehow i'm still friends with, gets in my car to this day, I remind him to watch were he puts those big-ass knees of his. He still remembers the incident all these years later. Probably because i'll never let him forget it.

Thats so funny!! I repaired my protruding dash there on my own and it is not noticeable to most people but it absolutely BLINDS ME when I drive that car hahaha
