A few problems with those. .840 width. Buick is .845. Pins would require custom pistons. And those are for 1.889 crank pin. . k1,eagle and lunati all show an LS rod at 6.400 length .927 wrist pin 2.100 crank pin . if you could get blanks and have them machined for .940 wrist pin and 2.00 crank pin you would be right on the money.
Anyone heard anything new about the heads? I've seen a couple build posts where people are already saying "if the new heads come out in time" ray: haha
This spring for maybe the very first castings from the foundary perhaps The intake im pretty sure took an extra year ontop of the given ETA
All I know is that the people with deposts down on the heads will get the first ones. I would be very surprised if they were not released by spring.
Looking for some 455 heads and headers for a 68 GS400.. Please feel free to message me on here or kylevonderau5@gmail.com if you have any or know of anyone that has some.. Thanks in advance..
I called TA today and they are saying my heads will be ready in December so that's not too long away! Not sure how many sets are in this first run.
You read it, they said December. I know, you thought because they said that in Sept. of 2016 you thought it would be December of 2016. LOL But in all actuality they only said in December, they didn't say which year that December would be. o No: Maybe it will be this year in December? uzzled: Derek
I asked them to come on here and give an update... Like I said in the other thread they lost two employees recently, but hired back a good guy so things will come together here.
I guess it's easy to poke fun when one does not know the entire story of what's really going on behind the scenes. This sort of thing takes time, and setbacks are a reality. It'll get here.
The new machinist started this week. We hope he can hit the ground running but there's always an adjustment period to get the hang of things. I believe he is going to be running other parts to fill backorders, then he will transition to completing the fixture and program for the heads.
