Yep now backed warranty by the Feds. That should be fun... just like going to motor vehicles :pp and they can have names for the different policies, like the "5 year Polluting Polosi Warranty" for emission. Or the Special Water Proofing Warranty named "The Floating Kennedy Warranty".

The Feds can't even run a railroad (Amtrak) and now their going to control the auto industry? Oh well, Fords are looking mighty good.

Will they extend the taxpayers' warranty to older Buicks? Mine is only 42 years old.

Nice to see that Obama and Congress will bend over backwards for the Bankers and Wall St. but jack the car makers around. The car makers were getting LOANS that have to be paid back. The Bankers and Wall st. got BAILOUTS that don't have to be paid back, but that WE have to pay for. The Obama Outhouse is running the car makers. Or GM at least-for now. Why does it seem like our car manufacturers are being nationalised like in some banana republic? The greedy bankers,Congress and Wall St. have caused most of our problems here with our current economy. Not the bad management from the car makers or the UAW unions. All 3 domestic car makers build good quality vehicles. Why do some believe that GM,Ford and Chrysler deserve to go out of business? I don't get that line of thinking. Congress and Wall St. are a bunch of crooks and decievers. Instead of calling for an overhaul of the car manufacturers, how about an overhaul AND oversight for Congress and Wall St.? Afterall, they are the ones that got us where we are at now.

Lookie here, while we are being distracted with the GM/Obama thing,Obama and the UN just took over 2 million more acres of land in 9 states that can never be used. The UN/US government are the biggest land holders of our nation. Another huge land grab because of the UN Agenda 21 Plan For Sustainable Development. Why is this going on just in the Western countries? Particularly our own?

Wait a minute, if the Chinese hold a substantial amount of paper on the debt that the US Treasury carries (over 1/3), doesn't it stand to reason that the Chinese are backing the warrantees?
