Wow, how has The Office not come up??? I bought my wife the 1st Season of The Love Boat a couple of months ago - it was finally released on DVD. It's amazing how campy - and strangely wonderful - it is... Years ago I bought several VHS tapes of the first couple of seasons of SOAP. Amazing stuff - no way you'd see it on television today! It's too bad too.
Some of these I remeber as a kid....yeah Joe I'll agree with ya on the MASH etc.. Leave it to Beaver ( Gotta love Eddie Haskell) Andy Griffith The Munsters Honeymooners Carol Burnett show Archie Bunker Red Skelton (yeah Freddie the Freeloader) Man the list could go on...gotta love good comedy where there wasn't any of this foul language...
seinfeld is my all time favorite. i watch it every night before i go to bed. before the first scene of every episode is over, i can tell you the story line of the entire episode. its a sickness :spank: other favorites are reno 911 and married with children  edit: some of these lists really age a lot of you!
MASH, never tire of that, All in the Family, a definate classic. Newer stuff, I get the best laugh from King of Queens. And Leah Remini's hot to boot :beer
:beer Got to be the Honeymooners then Andy Griffith Heck I have a cockatial that can whistle the Andy G theme song all the way through. Also the Jeopardy ? music Gary
Curb Your Enthusiasm - It 's on HBO and Larry David ( Seinfeld creator) gets himself into all kinds of situations, very funny. Only 10 eps. per year though
While not exactly a comedy routine, John Belushi doing Joe Cocker's " A Little Help From My Friends" has to be one of the best SNL performances.
How about the Dick Van Dyke show? Seinfeld is probably the only show I ever made sure I was home on Thursday night to watch. Still watch the re-runs every night, much to the annoyance of my wife! Don't get me started. nudge, nudge, say no more!
Fawlty Towers episode" The Germans" Bazil Fawlty has a bump on the head, and totally loses it.:TU: Did you guys get Blackadder? Bottom? Bottom is awesome! Toilet humour at its best.
"What ever you do, don't mention the war!" How could I forget Fawlty Towers?! I think 2 of my favorite episodes are "The builder" & "The wedding party". Who am I kidding, I like them all! I've seen Blackadder, but never watched enough to really get into it. Keeping up Appearances is pretty good too.
