if you goggle these guys name you can see they have attacked other sites...it is just a coincidence...no conspiracy
Kidding right? Lets see...who Hates the BPG with a passion. And this keeps happening right before the BPG nats?!?! Think about it.
Must be a disgruntled Ricer who was pwned by "grandpa's grocery getter". Or maybe one of those "M" word guys.....(not Michigan)....(Go Bucks :bla: )
so Adam, how close will you need to be to my laptop and power inverter to keep repairing the site? and a wireless connection. -nate
I'll be bringing my laptop with all the goodies on it to make sure I can get it restored again, and again, during the event. Really the only thing I need to make sure of, is that I get a backup of the database every.....like....30 minutes:laugh: I've been grabbing a backup of it every hour or so this evening. So at least we're not losing any real data anymore. I have already uploaded the backup to the server, and am currently waiting on hostrocket to import it.
I have no idea why they picked a Buick site.It doesn't make much sense to me.I can tell you though, there are a lot of people around the world that don't like us,and want to mess with us.I have a web page from my old Armored Cavalry troop that I visit periodically. The last few times there have been messages left in the guest book by rag heads. They aren't trying to shut it down, just leaving messenges in some type arabic?language. There was also some with porno links. One guy left a message in english that simply stated "I like to study Vietnam war".It came from Indonesia. Before these rag heads, their were messenges left in Chinese.Cyber Troopers I guess. They piss me off.:af: :blast: :blast:
Its not only our buick sites that got hacked by them, but multiple websites using vBulletin. I found the one guy's (kuwait_falcon20) website: http://www.kuwaitnjm.com/ I believe its a vulnerability in vBulletin. Sorry for bothering you Adam on AIM two nights (buickguy61088).
Try this Adam....... this is what the hacker are using to protect THEIR Vbulletin system....... so, I'd be willing to bet it works good http://sourceforge.net/projects/ctrackphpbb/
Boy, this sucks. I don't know how far you got fixing it, but they got it again. Have you contacted vBulletin Adam?
