WTB - '66 Skylark Quarter Panel Molding (behing the wheel - passenger side)

Is the hole located in the area where the molding is painted? If so, that is ok as I can fil and repaint. Thanks, let me know!

 

No luck, it's right on the stainless part, not the recessed painted area.

Not sure if you have contacted me previously but I do have pretty near every piece of chrome that came on the 66 Skylark including the part you are looking for. None of the parts have been "drilled". If I can find this part I will be asking $50.00 plus shipping. Also, I only ship to locations in the Continental U.S. I attached a diagram of the molding breakdown for the 66 Skylark so that it will help in the I.D. process in the event I cannot locate what you need. I am guessing you want the chrome that goes behind the rear wheel and terminates by the back bumper for the passenger side.

Yes, we have been in contact via email. I am looking for the piece of trim as you described above, passenger side - behing the rear wheel that terminates at the back bumper.

I have heard that the clips for the moldings are not available in reproduction. Do you have the molding clips as well?

Okay, just sent photos of the parts. I'll post one showing the variety I have for the benefit of other members who may also be looking for that special molding for their 66 Skylark. Just finished raining so I managed to get into the parts trailer. I have the longer moldings and those hard-to-get front fender trim pieces and I believe front fenderwell moldings but not the rear.

Not sure if these are the clips but they did come off of a 66 Skylark Convertible and they are all I have. I sold some of those square plastic ones a while back.

I don't know if my the last message reply went out to you but yes, I do have pretty much every piece of molding ever used on the 66 Skylark to include the pinchweld for the convertible. I really need to go into my mailbox and delete some messages today! Also waiting to hear back from Thomas about the quarter panel part he wanted which I have.
