no offense to dan, but Allen - you need to talk with us LI Guys when you need something before paying big $$$$ for a small part. Im sure Bruno has about 30-40 of these

 

Thats good to know. Speaking of humps, I was bidding on one for my '70 cutlass (an original olds hump) and it was just one other person bidding on it. This guy bids $200, I lose the auction then he tells the seller he doesnt want it. Seller contacts me I say yeah I'm interested (dont want to pay that price though) and I drive out to pick up the piece. Seller tells me she couldnt believe this piece of "metal" fetch $200 which she says seems like too much money so I end up getting it for $15. Another example of pay some save some.

True, sometimes I get on ebay and I guess panic thinking I'll never see something ever again, I got to learn better self control and of course in desperate moments I forget Bruno is close by. Lets see what will I need now? Actually in time I will be letting stuff go as the car comes to a finish.

....not to pour salt in you wallet but I was in my garage rummaging around and spotted 3 of those brackets - 2 on spare mainfolds and one on my spare 455". I wouldn't have missed one.....

 

I too feel really stupid. I sold an exact one to a guy on the board for ten bucks. Thought I was helping a brother out. If I find out is was one of mine, I knock him out and piss on his teeth. Don't make money off of my charity.
