Rob, another option we tried was using an El Camino spring with the air bag. the rate is much higher and we had to cut a coil to get the ride height correct. You also might want to do some shock absorber research. Seems like too much travel on the right rear. Good luck.

Just looked at the pics closer ,its kinda interesting as my car 60'd same as yours and would only lift left front about 1-2in and right front would just be kissing pavement. 100%stock suspension but on Drag radials, which leads me to that, if you haven't already tried them DR's WILL be faster and them alone will drop et a tenth or more

My BFG drag radials may be going away, but I never could get them to hook as good as my slicks. I did try them a couple of weekends and my et only suffered.
How much air are you running in them and how much do you heat um up?

BFG's arent gonna hook, 325/50 Mickey Thompson is what I run , a 275/60 Pro MT will hook also but 18 to 22lbs depends how good track is, just a 35 to 45 rpm spin till you get just a light wisp of white then let it eat any more and you just wasting tires, got several pics of my 325's wrinkled plus the car isn't swimming all over the track on the bigend

The new PRO 275/60 MT drag radials are awesome. A local guy runs 9.30s on them pulling a 4 ft wheels stands in a 3800 lb Chevelle with a 600+ cubic inch big block. A head scratcher for sure......

My '67 Skylark was lifting the left front tire (higher than the pic) and car was twisting. Bobb Makley & I installed an H&R bar. Car came out straight and level. Dropped over 2 tenths from E.T.. Was still dialing it in, when I scorched a main.

Thank you. I believe that is awesome!
the HR bar not the scorched main... that's a bummer.

Thank You. I couldn't believe it. Made several passes and it was consistent. Now, once I get the engine back in, I'll have to start dialing it in all over. Geoff and Bobb "made a few changes" to my engine. And I added a roll bar, new hockey pucks among other things.
The H&R bar was worth doing. A couple of my friends have had good things to say about them as well.
